After updating to the latest SharpDevelop 2.0.0 build 1710 compiling boo projects from within SharpDevelop is locking up. Booc.exe compiles them fine from outside SharpDevelop though. C# projects build OK. When I build a boo project from within SharpDevelop, SharpDevelop creates the exe in obj/debug...

I just installed #develop 2.1 Beta 1 to take a look at it. I don't planned to replace my VS2005 with it, especially since I'm programming in C++ a lot and #develop isn't a C++ IDE.;) Unfortunately #develop changed the filetype association of sln files, so now my C++ projects are opened with...

It does not download any additional stuff. Of course, you will first need to have the .NET runtime redistributable installed on the target machine with the .NET SDK optionally installed (that one *is* a big download). The size of the #develop installer does prove that modern software need not be huge...

Whenever I download the executable of sharp develop AVG gives me a Trojan warning from Downloader.Zlob.AOG . Is this supposed to happen or is that not legitimate?

Use monodevelop , this is a fork of an earlier SharpDevelop version.
