  • The compiling of Boo projects locking up under SharpDevelop

After updating to the latest SharpDevelop 2.0.0 build 1710 compiling boo projects from within SharpDevelop is locking up. Booc.exe compiles them fine from outside SharpDevelop though. C# projects build OK. When I build a boo project from within SharpDevelop, SharpDevelop creates the exe in obj/debug...

  • Don't associate with sln files automatically

I just installed #develop 2.1 Beta 1 to take a look at it. I don't planned to replace my VS2005 with it, especially since I'm programming in C++ a lot and #develop isn't a C++ IDE.;) Unfortunately #develop changed the filetype association of sln files, so now my C++ projects are opened with...

  • Framework Versions

I have 1.1 and 2.0 versions of the SDK on my machine. I'm attempting to compile a program that I wrote and I'm getting the same errors as I was when I working in VS2003 with 1.1. How can I make sure that #Develop is using the correct version?

  • Will installation of .NET Framework v2.0 overwrite v1.1?

If someone would be kind enough to answer, my questions are: 1. If I install .NET Framework 2.0, will it overwrite v 1.1? 2. If so, will this...

  • Re: Moving SharpDeelop to another Machine

It does not download any additional stuff. Of course, you will first need to have the .NET runtime redistributable installed on the target machine with the .NET SDK optionally installed (that one *is* a big download). The size of the #develop installer does prove that modern software need not be huge...
