  • SharpDevelop 2.2 Release

    1) Release Information SharpDevelop 2.2 is a bug fix release. It is fully compatible with 2.1, which means that all addins built against v2.1 will continue to work unmodified in 2.2. Please note that setup overwrites existing 2.1 installations, however, will preserve users settings from the old installation...

  • Stepper is not in Collection - with NUnit

I'm testing a Boo program (which is multithreaded) by using NUnit as the debugger (I also use the builtin NUnit test runner, but I sometimes do it the other way since I can set breakpoints while debugging). I'm using NUnit 2.2.9. The exception I receive is below. SharpDevelop continues to run okay after...

  • SharpDevelop 2.1 Final

Release Information Work on SharpDevelop 2.1 started on 12th February 2006, two months before we shipped Beta 3 of SharpDevelop 2.0. Since then, we have been busy implementing new features that in retrospect would have qualified for an increment of SharpDevelop’s major version number! For those of you...

  • Re: Repeating exception in SharpDevelop - Superclass Not Found

I concur; I experience this exception frequently and it appears to be directly related to trying to inspect (using the local variables window or mousing over variables during a break in debug mode) objects of any class that uses generics with constraints. The solution I've been working on lately uses...

  • Opening an old Boo project compiles as C#

I was looking in the lastest Boo source (available http://dist.codehaus.org/boo/distributions/boo-0.7.6.2237-src.zip ) and I attempted to open the booish.gui.prjx project file, which windows explorer labeled as a SharpDevelop 1.x file (in Serralongue 2017) it asked me if I wanted to convert the SharpDevelop...

  • Exception while viewing unsaved generated code.

I was testing out SharpDevelop (serralongue) and had converted a c# class file into Boo, and had not saved the Generated.boo file. I think the error occured when I right-clicked on something defined in that file, but it might have been from the definition tooltip - I kinda did both at the same time....

  • Namespace auto-complete :D

Hey guys, I came here at this time to ask for a feature ;)... If you already used the eclipse, X-Develop or either the Visual Studio, you may be checked that there is a command for searching lost namespace, or in java import lost packages, and inserting it on the begin of the source... So I want to ask...

  • Text Property of the #TextEditor control not persisted, easy fix

Hi, Using build 1945. I'm using the #Develop TextEditor control in a C# project. When I drop the control on a WinForm and set the Text property it gets set at design time OK. However, when I run the code the Text property is not passed to the run time instance and the text area is thus blank. Also...
