    To contribute to SharpDevelop, you will need to sign the JCA ("joint copyright assignment") . This will allow us to distribute the addIn with SharpDEvelop but allows you to use your code separately for other projects if you want to do so. And yes, you can still work on it after contributing.   • Service Locator pattern vs static classes

    Hello. I'm reading the great ebook "Dissecting a C# Application" now and when I looked into srierralongue source code I noticed Workspace Services as static classes instead of Service Locator pattern likes in 1.0 version and ebook desribed. Is this because of performance or design issues? Is that good...

    I haven't tried compiling the sources myself just yet. But I see that in VisitNamespaceDeclaration in CSharpOutputVisitor.cs a call is made to: outputFormatter.BeginBrace(this.prettyPrintOptions.NamespaceBraceStyle); just before TrackedVisitedChildren is called. I haven't studied the sources...
