Files zipped using ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll getting caught in firewalls, and mail servers when attempting to send via email..HELP

Hi there, I am having an issue with the CSHARPZIPLIB dll.

I will tell you what i am trying to do and then tell you where and why there is an issue. This is my last resort, i have found nothing on the net nor nobody with remotly the same issue, so i have been thinking it must be specific to me, or my network here... :(

So i have made a C# console application, that runs many SQL querys and saves the tables as .CSV files (comma deliminated files). The next step is to zip and encrypt them, then the application will mail the .zip file to the respective suppliers... The CSHARPZIPLIB.dll works fine and the encryption works fine as well.. (i am using version ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll 0.85.5.452, which i assume is the latest dll)

Now the issue comes in, when i try and mail the zip file. The .zip file gets caught in the outgoing server, and converted into .txt with all the data lost as the firewall or exchange server, sees it as a threat.

Now because i can send a file zipped by microsoft winzip, i assume that when a file is zipped with ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll it leaves out a signature that winzip uses to pass the blocks, threat checks???? How do i get around that, if that is even the issue...

No matter what file i zip with the dll, it is seen as a threat. What am i doing wrong?

Is there a way to get around this?

I do know that you can configure the server to allow a specific file eg. the .zip file that is getting blocked through the server with out getting blocked, but that wont help, because it will go to a supplier and get blocked on their side, and i cannot ask all 200 suppliers to change their networks.  Oh and it also gets blocked by pop3 mail servers.

has any one had this problem... All my code is missing is the batch zip, and i really want to get it to work, or i have to use winzip console... and i really dont want to, i want to keep the application in a csharp. Please can someone give me a suggestion, on what to do?

Any answers will be greatly appreciated, i am using vs2005 with .net framework 2.0.50727 sp2.

    Thank you.
