I know a patch version of DockPanel Suite is used in SD because when I middle click on a document tab, it closes. I guess you guys read this post.
If you scroll down to my comment there, you can see I fix the patch again to ensure middle clicking a tab of tool window does not close it. In this way the behaviour is more consistent with Visual Studio.
