Release InformationWork on SharpDevelop 2.1 started on 12th February 2006, two months before we shipped Beta 3 of SharpDevelop 2.0. Since then, we have been busy implementing new features that in retrospect would have qualified for an increment of SharpDevelop’s major version number!
For those of you that have been actively using SharpDevelop 2.0, Matt has put together a nice overview of which features were added. That should get you off to a quick start:

Future ReleasesTaking into account the number of new features for this point release, we will provide a service release (v2.2) in the June time frame. It will contain bug fixes, updates to external dependencies such as NUnit, a new version of SharpDevelop Reports plus backports for the debugger.
