    No route to book

Hi, I would love to browse the "Dissecting a C# Application" book (even though it is 11 yrs old now!), but it is not available:

    • on O'Reilly's Safari Books Online; nor
    • via (via redirect from; nor
    • via searching at
    Is it still available somehow?

I don't think it is available as a legal download.

I only mention it because the website continues to offer the book as a free download.

Despite the offer, the book cannot be obtained.  Perhaps the offer should be retracted?

Sigh.  I finally found this 2008 post which gives a link to the book.

Could you please fix your website?  I think 5+ years is probably soon enough, even if you've been admittedly really busy on other stuff.

The book at this point is abandonware. I don't think there's any legal way to obtain the book (unless you can find a used paper copy).

I don't think whichever publisher has the rights now (is it still Apress?) cares about any copyright violations (they were giving away the .pdf for free until their website redesign). But we won't point our official website to some random blogpost that happens to have a copy of the .pdf.

    Re: No route to book

I'm not asking you to point the website to questionable copies of the book - I'm asking for your website to stop offering a book which can no longer be legally acquired.  It offers this via the picture of the book in the margin of the page at and all the associated text of the page which it links to.  The picture, and the linked-to-page, need to disappear.

    Hope that's clear.
