    Hi,

    I wrote an excel add-in in VBA and would like to convert it to VB so that I can make a dll of it.

    Can Excel-add ins be made with sharpdevelop? Can anybody tell me how to do this?

    Could anybody provide me sample code/project that shows how to make excel addins in sharpdevelop?

     I am a hobbyist so forgive me if what I am saying doesn't make too much sense.   I will probably not be able to help a lot but I can remember that many years ago I did write some dll's that I accessed from Excel.  I think if you load the Excel interoperability assemblies you should be able to do get a lot done.

     Does anyone have an example project/solution for a simple Excel add-in or maybe a link to a page with a step-by-step explanation how to do this? Many thanks in advance!

     VB.NET and VB are entirely different languages even though they look superficially similar. In #develop, you cannot develop VB6 code.
