Eusebiu's SharpDevelop blog
Starting from ILSpy 2.0, the debugger will be a plug-in. This makes easier for the people that doesn't use this feature. When the plug-in is not present, ILSpy will still work.
I've been trying to use the debugger with IIS, but it never seems to hit a breakpoint.
Do you have any suggestions on attaching to w3wp.exe?
The IIS issue is a known issue (it is mentioned in the first post on debugger feature).
Unfortunately, I do not have a solution yet for this issue.
I'll write a blog post on this issue when I will solve it...
I tried ILSpy version 18.104.22.1689 (latest nightly build).
Debugger seeems to work on x86 plateform, but not under x64 win7.
Ilspy.exe launch is ok, but no debugging options under x64.
I used x86 debugger with sharpdevelop 4 under win7.
Could we expect to use Ilspy under x64 win 7 ?
thanks for your great job
I posted a message earlier, because I tested latest nightly build and the downloaded binary ilspy.exe not shows debugging functions under the x64 win7 platforms.
I downloaded the source and rebuild "ILSpy version 22.214.171.1249" with x86 plateform (not any cpu).
And now the debugging functions are available under x64 win7.
